I've run successful campaigns in:
Waterdeep (almost 2 yrs in Real Life, including lots of forays to UM) Cormyr Sembia Dalelands Moonsea area The Shaar/Great Rift area
By far the easiest to run (IMO) are campaigns set in Cormyr/Sembia/the Vast...avoiding the Dalelands... |

| I'm wanting my next FR campaign to have heavy involvement from the Shadovar....best thing to come to the Realms ni a long time, so I have it narrowed to somewhere near the Anaurach Desert. |

| Really? I don't care for the Shade stuff at all...in fact, that part of the recent realms history is excluded in our (upcoming) campaign... |

| I didn't feel there was a need for yet another mysterious type of magic to be introduced...that and my guys prefer a "simpler" Realms - reminiscent of the novels from the 90's...might even rewind time and set things just after the godswar... |
